Max earned his Master’s degree in Financial Services through the American College and in his spare time enjoys the great midwestern outdoors with his family, usually while musing about future industry trends.
  • Luke Rother, CLU, CEPA, Lead Insurance Strategist
    *Life Insurance Strategies *Business Planning Solutions Email: luke@yetworth.com Luke has specialized in life insurance since 2018 and joined us to expand Yetworth’s business planning offerings. He has a passion for helping clients understand the value of their policies and entered financial services after working in the nonprofit sector. Luke graduated from Texas A&M, earned a master’s from John Brown University, holds his series 6 and 63 as well as a life and health insurance license, has earned the Certified Exit Planning Accreditation (CEPA), and is on his way to completing the CLU designation. Luke lives in Colorado with his partner, Luke, and their dog, Mo, and he enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, backpacking, and generally staying active.
  • Patrick Lim, New Business Director

He is now our primary case manager for all product lines and leads the charge in getting agents properly contracted, as well as ensuring up-to-date producer licensing. Patrick received a BA in International Studies from UC San Diego, and he enjoys running and experiencing the latest culinary trends at home with his wife and daughters.
  • Laura Lalonde, In-Force Business Director
    *In-Force Correspondence *Office Administration Email: laura@yetworth.com Laura is the first voice you’ll hear when calling Yetworth. She helps incoming callers find the right resources for case inquiries, sends carrier correspondence to our agents, and is our primary in-force business contact. Laura is a long-time contributor to the Giant Steps Therapeutic Equestrian Center in Petaluma, holds a BFA from University of SF Academy of Arts, and is a ray of light to those around her.
  • Emma Schmitz, ChFC, Managing Director
    *Commissions & Accounting *Agency Licensing, Registrations, etc. (Biz Admin) *Management, Systems, & IT Email: emma@yetworth.com Emma manages the behind-the-scenes at Yetworth, ensures money goes where it's supposed to, and distributes content to our audience. She also performs the technical and administrative tasks that keep Yetworth running such as systematizing, agency licensing, insurance, and registrations. Working from home in Truckee, CA, she lives with her dogs and homestead partner. Emma earned a degree in Creative Writing from UC Santa Cruz and is currently earning her ChFC designation.

    *Brokerage Consultant *Contract, Rate Increase, Compensation, & Viability Inquiries Email: jack@yetworth.com Jack served as Yetworth’s (formerly known as Bay Area Disability, then DI & LTC) president for over thirty years with his wife, Diana, our previous vice president. Jack received his CLU, ChFC, and CASL from the American College, was the 2015 recipient of the International DI Society W. Harold Petersen Lifetime Achievement Award, has led several local financial associations, and is a past president of The Plus Group. He likes to hike, paddle board, and spend time with friends and family over good wine and food.
